Women In Sport: A Seat At The Table

We were delighted to see Sue on the panel at Birmingham 2022 - A Seat at the Table. The event celebrated the landmark announcement that Birmingham 2022 will award more medals to women than men for the first at a major multi-sport event, they held a day of special talks to reflect on the past, present and future of women’s sport.

‘A Seat at the Table’ looked ahead to what still needs to be done to ensure women are represented at every level, and how major events like Birmingham 2022 can encourage more grassroots participation in sport.

- Joan Duda, Professor of Sport and Exercise Psychology, University of Birmingham

- Ashia Hansen, World Indoor and Commonwealth triple jump champion and former world record holder
