Game On, which premieres on Sky this Sunday, February 2, features a host of sporting pioneers and global events, as it charts the past, present and future for women’s sport and its impact on society.

Told through the eyes of sporting legends the documentary includes candid interviews with Denise Lewis, Clare Balding, Tanni Grey-Thompson, Kelly Smith, Laura Woods, Ugo Monye, Sarah Hunter and Pamela Cookey; and sports pioneers like Sally Munday, Dr Ali Bowes and Dr Emma Ross. Along with addressing the biggest issues, they also consider what’s changed in recent years to result in the massive growth we’re now seeing, and what the future holds.

The one-hour documentary follows professional rugby player Poppy Cleall’s journey to the 2022 Women’s World Cup, with former Arsenal and England footballer Kelly Smith exploring the impact of the Lionesses Euros win and former footballer and boxer Stacey Copeland discussing the powerful Katie Taylor vs Amanda Serrano headline boxing bout at Madison Square Gardens in New York.

The documentary’s release on Sky comes ahead of a huge year of female sporting action including the UEFA Euros, a new look Netball Super League and the Women’s Rugby World Cup in England.

It was a joy to co-directed and produce Game On with Jack Tompkins, with Ben Marlow as Director of Photography.

We're so thrilled that Game On has been acquired by Sky as it enables us to reach a new audience, opening viewers' minds to the power sport has to drive change in society and showcasing the challenges female athletes still face in their fight for equality.

Thank you again to all the wonderful people who gave their time to take part in our documentary, and to the team at Sky who have supported us to make this happen.
