Waterstones' Best Sports Books

So proud to see 'Game On - The Unstoppable Rise of Women's Sport' is included in Waterstones' Best Sports Books of 2021.

Slightly ironic that a book highlighting the huge progress in women's sport sits on a list dominated by male authors including Tom Daley, Mark Cavendish, Siya Kolisi, Rob Burrows, Frankie Detorri, Adam Peaty, James Haskell, Michael Holding, Peter Schmeicel, John Barnes, Doddie Weir, Andrew Flintoff, Phil Tuffnel, Alun Wyn Jones, Gary Lineker & Alan Shearer.

Female authors account for less than 10% of the list this year, but let's celebrate them (and maybe buy their books too?).

Along with Game On we have Billie Jean-King's magnificent 'All In', Liv Cooke's 'The Way to Win', Ramla Ali's 'Not Without A Fight' & the Women in Football anthology 'Football She Wrote'.
